Position: U.S. Immigration Junior Associate
Location: New York, NY

Duties:

The U.S. Immigration Junior Associate will be responsible for researching and drafting legal documents and forms and representing clients in matters related to US Immigration Law. Specifically: Meet, interact, and represent foreign national clients, particularly from Brazil, LATAM, and the US. Assist clients with family-based petitions, employment-based petitions, immigrant petitions including I-130, I-140, I-485 Adjustment of Status, N-400 Naturalization, RFE’s and Non-Immigrant Visas (B1/B2, F, H-1B, J, K, L-1, O, TN, E). Conduct legal due diligence of personal and financial client information from foreign clients as it relates to U.S. immigration law. Prepare and present legal case strategy to client and stakeholders, particularly from Brazil, LATAM, and the U.S. Review, draft, and file legal documents with US government agencies. Conduct extensive legal research on new issues and present them to Partners.

Salary: $95,222.00/year

Requirements: J.D. Degree, 24 months of experience in US Immigration Law as a Law Clerk, Legal Intern, Associate or Attorney. Be an active member in good standing of at least one state Bar in the United States
