Penny is an investment, transactional and regulatory lawyer with a wealth of knowledge and experience in financial services gained from working in private practice (Lovells, King & Spalding and own firm) and holding senior legal and compliance positions in-house (AMP AM, Legal & General IM, UBS AM, Insight etc.). She has an in-depth understanding of the challenges facing financial institutions, investors and other businesses, having spent nearly 30 years working in the financial services sector advising on numerous multi-jurisdictional transactions, managing large investment fund and regulatory change projects and being actively engaged at an industry level (trade bodies and regulators) in the development of financial services policy and regulation. She advises on financial services and ESG regulation, corporate, commercial and governance matters and legal issues related to investment management, with a focus on regeneration, sustainable and impact investment and FinTech. Penny is an English qualified solicitor and co-managing partner of the firm’s London office.
