SERGIO CUCCI

ergio Cucci is a partner in the New York office, counseling clients on a wide range of US and international tax matters involving foreign inbound investments, the taxation and administration of non-US trusts and multijurisdictional estates, and business succession planning. Sergio has over 20 years experience advising on tax-efficient strategies for the transfer of wealth for tax-blended families and in representing fiduciaries in connection with the administration of foreign and domestic estates.

Sergio also has an active real estate practice, advising project development clients on the purchase of development sites, structuring of the financing for the developments, negotiation of relevant financing and acquisition agreements, and the ultimate disposition or leasing of the developed sites.

Prior to joining Reinhardt LLP, Sergio was a partner in a firm specializing in international trusts and estates matters. He worked at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom before and during law school, assisting with the administration of the firm’s pro-bono program in a variety of areas, including political asylum, human rights protection, and community development projects.

Sergio received his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation, magnum cum laude, from New York Law School and his B.A. from George Washington University. He is admitted to practice in the states of New York and New Jersey, and is fluent in Italian.
