enver-based partner Susan Brushaber advises clients, both foreign and domestic, on a wide range of legal issues, primarily in the areas of Intellectual Property and Information Technology, with particular expertise in the areas of technology development and licensing, cloud computing, data protection and data security compliance, privacy, e-commerce, Intellectual Property Portfolio Management, trademark prosecution and enforcement (including international brand management and strategy), copyright protection and enforcement, and trade secret protection.

With over twenty-years of experience, Susan has particular expertise in structuring and negotiating domestic and international agreements in the areas of cloud & SaaS services, Internet of Things (IoT), outsourcing, product development, software development and licensing, technology transfer, consulting services, telecommunications, data sharing, complex procurement arrangements, product distribution and sales, OEM arrangements, marketing and advertising services, content creation and distribution, publishing, corporate sponsorships, and various types of patent, trademark and copyright licenses.

Prior to joining Reinhardt LLP in 2012, Susan was the acting General Counsel and Director of International and Legal Affairs at a leading multinational software company headquartered in Denver, Colorado with subsidiaries located in Europe and Asia and over 1,200 employees worldwide.

Susan is a member of the International Trademark Association and the International Law and Intellectual Property Sections of the American Bar Association, having served as the liaison between the two sections and chair of the International Intellectual Property Committee.

She is also a member of the Colorado Bar Association and past chair of the Colorado International Law Section.

Most recently she was part of a delegation of United States Lawyers that travelled to Prague to meet with representatives of the Czech Bar Association where she spoke on Data Protection. Susan is also a member and director of the Denver Rotary Club, and has chaired the World Community Service and Youth Exchange Committees.
